How To Reverse Global Transfer in Fusion HCM

 To cancel the Global Transfer follow below steps:

- Search the Person in Manage Person with effective date as the Global Transfer Date
- In search result, go to Actions >> Person and Employment >> Manage Work Relationship . This will open the work relationship UI.
- Here, from Actions select 'Cancel Work Relationship'

Here if you get error related to 'direct reports', then follow below steps:

- Search the Person in Manage Person with effective date as the Global Transfer Date
- From search result, select the work Relationship that you want to cancel.
- Go to Manage Employment.
- Delete/Transfer all the Direct Reports you see here.
- Once you have ensured that there are no Direct Reports, perform the above task to cancel the Work relationship again.

If you get Error BEN-990920 Benefits Enrollments Already Exist for This Person:

There can be multiple cause why the error is received:

1. This message is rendered, when on the Core HR side, an HR user attempts to Cancel a Hire, for whom a life event has already processed. The benefits user needs to void/back out that life event, and thereby nullify any enrollments or defaults that got saved as a result of it, before the Cancel Hire can proceed. A "processed" life event can also mean any backed-out/voided life event that still exists in the benefits tables.

2. In the case of a Rehire/Transfer, existing life events or enrollments may not exist. However, the Benefit Relationship for the active Work Relationship is linked to the latest (active) Assignment. This is the assignment that will be deleted when cancelling the Work Relationship.

Depending on the situation, the user may have the same Benefits Relationship for both the previous and current assignments (having life events and enrollments for the previous assignment). As the current assignment is tied to the existing Benefits Relationship, the system detects that life events or enrollments exist. 

Action plan:

1. Backout the existing Live Events.
2. Delete or Void the Potential Life Events.
3. Purge the life events events for person using the "Purge Backed-Out or Voided Life Event Data" process (Benefits > Evaluation and Reporting). Alternatively you can use the Purge option from the Enrollments UI (Show Backed Out and Voided Events > Delete All).
4. Make sure no more potential or person life events exist after the process is run.
5. Go to Benefits Relation UI. Search for this persons benefits relationship that starts on re-hired date.
6. Edit the latest active benefits relation with the date of the new start date of the new primary assignment for your person in correction mode (in this example, re-hired date).
7. Select the assignment list of values and select the prior assignment (not the latest that would be assigned now and you wish to cancel). Save your changes.
8. Now try to Cancel the Work Relationship.
9. (optional) Come back to Benefits Relationship UI, and click the refresh icon to sync up the relationships with the new work relationship that you would add.
10. (optional) Verify the assignment on relationship is the latest active assignment for the person.
11. (optional) continue processing benefits for this person.
