Starting from 25C, Oracle Fusion introduces a Legislative Data Updates feature to help you view and manage tax, geography, and legislative updates (planned or unplanned) specific to your country’s payroll legislation.

✅ Key Capabilities

๐Ÿ”น 1. Types of Updates

  • Planned Updates:

    • Delivered on a monthly (on-cycle) basis.

    • May be marked as required or not required by default.

    • Admins can override and mark a non-required update as required.

  • Unplanned Updates:

    • Off-cycle and used to address urgent issues (e.g., legal/tax corrections).

    • Can be deferred or skipped using the Add to Opt Out option.

๐Ÿ”น 2. Filtering Options

Use filters to refine your view based on:

  • Year

  • Country

  • Type of update (Planned or Unplanned)

  • Required/Not Required

  • Status

๐Ÿ”น 3. Update Sequence

  • When multiple updates exist for a single month, use the Sequence Number to determine the order of application.

๐Ÿ”น 4. Opt-Out Feature

  • For unplanned updates, you can choose to opt out using the:

    Add to Opt Out
    This allows you to defer or skip updates that may not be relevant.

This feature is automatically available (no setup required), but users need specific privileges to access it:
